Apollo Safety founder John Carvalho fielded questions and demonstrated products at MAHMT’s conference. They showcased the very latest in hazardous gas detection technology, including wireless, from manufacturers such as Industrial Scientific, RAE Systems, and RKI Instruments.
According to Carvalho, “We focused on providing information about the latest advances in hazardous gas/toxic leak detection and equipment to ensure the safety of hazardous material incident response professionals and the general public.”
The MAHMT event was co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Association of Hazardous Materials Technicians in partnership with Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), Massachusetts Department of Fire Services Hazardous Materials Response Program, and others.
